Driver killed in fiery Cleburne crash
At around 3:00am this morning, Cleburne Fire/EMS and Police responded to a major accident with vehicle on fire in the 2300 block of S. Main Street (Highway 174) near Old Foamy Road.
Cleburne police say the crash involved a single vehicle that caught fire after the collision. After firefighters contained the blaze, the body of the driver was located inside.
Lanes of the roadway were closed while police investigated the scene and cleared up the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
