17-year-old driver killed in Fort Worth crash
On Monday, July 29, at around 10:14pm, Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS all responded to a major accident in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Walsh Ranch Parkway.
Upon arrival, emergency crews located a vehicle and an 18-wheeler involved in a collision. Police say the vehicle rear-ended the 18-wheeler while it was stuck in traffic.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 17-year-old male from Weatherford.
No charges are anticipated at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
