Two people killed in Fort Worth crash
At 9:32am this morning, Fort Worth FD, PD, Medstar EMS, and CareFlite all responded to the scene of a major accident along northbound West Loop 820 near Camp Bowie.
Crews arrived to find a single vehicle had hit a sign, entrapping at least one occupant. CareFlite air ambulance was called while firefighters worked extrication.
Despite rescue efforts, two occupants inside the vehicle were pronounced deceased.
Eyewitnesses say the driver was driving erratically moments before the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
