Juvenile electrocuted at Saginaw power substation, airlifted to Parkland
On Saturday, January 25th, Saginaw Fire and Police along with Fort Worth Fire and MedStar EMS responded to an electrocution at a power substation in the 1000 block of Grand Central Parkway.
Authorities say a subject who had threatened self-harm ran from officers and was subsequently electrocuted at the power supply terminal. Officers contained the fire and called for EMS.
A CareFlite helicopter airlifted the juvenile male to Parkland Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition is not known.
The incident remains under investigation.
