Missing kayaker’s body located at Lake Lewisville
At around 9:00pm on Saturday, March 15, multiple emergency responders including the Texas Game Wardens, Lewisville Fire, Lake Cities Fire, Lake Dallas Police, and Denton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a missing kayaker at Lake Lewisville.
Initial reports indicated a kayaker went missing on the water near the Lake Lewisville toll bridge.
His body was located approximately two hours later.
Officials have identified the man as a 29-year-old. They said he was wearing a life jacket at the time of the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
