Pedestrian struck, killed by intoxicated driver in Fort Worth

On Thursday, June 11, at approximately 7:00pm, a driver was traveling eastbound at 4000 E Rosedale Street at a high rate of speed. At the same time, a pedestrian was crossing E. Rosedale Street southbound at the intersection with Chicago Ave.

The vehicle struck the pedestrian while the pedestrian was crossing the street. The pedestrian landed on top of the vehicle, which continued and then stopped in the parking lot of the fish market on the southwest corner of E Rosedale St and Miller Ave.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased.

The driver was evaluated by a DWI unit and placed under arrest for Intoxication Manslaughter.

Three people killed in Duncanville crash

The Duncanville Police Department is investigating a tragic motor vehicle crash that claimed the lives of three individuals on June 8, 2026.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., Duncanville Police officers were dispatched to a major accident at the intersection of W Wheatland Road and S Cedar Ridge Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles involved in the collision.

One of the vehicles was occupied by four individuals. Despite life-saving efforts by Duncanville paramedics, two adult females were pronounced deceased at the scene. Two male juveniles were transported to local hospitals, where one was later pronounced deceased. The second juvenile remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle did not sustain any major injuries.

The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Portions of the roadway remain closed as officers and crash investigators continue to process the scene. Traffic investigators are actively working to determine the circumstances and contributing factors that led to the collision.

Three men arrested after shoplifting, pursuit in Mansfield

On Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 3:02 p.m., Mansfield Police officers responded to a
reported shoplifting in progress at Target, located at 1801 N. U.S. 287 Frontage Road.

The reporting party provided a description of the suspect vehicle. The Mansfield Police Department
deployed a Drone with its First Responder (DFR) program, which successfully located the vehicle and
obtained a license plate number. Communications personnel discovered the vehicle had been reported
stolen earlier that day out of Richardson, Texas.

When officers arrived on scene, the suspect vehicle failed to yield and fled, initiating a pursuit. During
the investigation, officers determined that two suspects were inside the vehicle while a third suspect
remained inside the Target store.

The pursuit ended in the 3900 block of Interstate 20 in Dallas when the suspect vehicle crashed into a
white Chevrolet Suburban that was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway. The Suburban had been
involved in an unrelated traffic accident, and all occupants were outside their vehicle exchanging
information at the time of the collision.

The suspect vehicle, a gray Toyota Camry, was occupied by the driver, 65-year-old Nelson Murray, and
passenger, 62-year-old Willie McNealy. A third suspect, 63-year-old Erwin Roland, was detained at the
Target location.

Murray is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, and
Engaging in Organized Retail Theft. McNealy and Roland are each charged with Engaging in Organized
Retail Theft.

All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Mansfield Jail without further incident.
At the time of Roland’s arrest, officers recovered $383.91 worth of stolen merchandise from his
possession. Additional stolen merchandise valued at $1,192.63 was recovered from the suspect vehicle.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Two women, officer, and child injured in Fort Worth shooting

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 5200 block of East Rosedale. 

On June 6, 2026, at approximately 9:10pm, Fort Worth Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting call that occurred in the 5200 block of E Rosedale Street.  

There was a large scheduled gathering today in the Stop Six Park. 

To the east of the park is a business strip center and to the east of the strip center is an apartment community. 

A suspect, observed dressed in all black, was seen coming around the corner between the apartment community and the businesses. The suspect then fired a gun indiscriminately in the direction of several people gathered in the area. The suspect was then seen running away toward the nearby apartment community. 

An adult female civilian was struck in the head by the gunfire. She was transported to a local hospital and was last reported to be in critical condition.

A Fort Worth Police Officer had been sitting in his patrol vehicle parked along the street in the direction of the gunfire. A bullet went through the officer’s windshield, and shrapnel struck the police officer in the neck. He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

 A child was grazed in the head by a bullet, and the child was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

An elderly female civilian was struck in the hip by gunfire and self-transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Currently, there is no suspect in custody. 

Major Case has been notified and is actively working the case.

Motorcyclist killed in rural Wise County crash

On Monday, June 1, 2026, at 7:00 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol Troopers responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 920 near Private Road (PR) 3738 in Wise County.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the rider of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on FM 920 at an unsafe speed and failed to negotiate a curve. The rider went off the road and laid the motorcycle over. The rider was not wearing a helmet.

The rider, a 56-year-old male of Weatherford, TX, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
