Man found shot dead following disturbance with wife in Little Elm

The Little Elm Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred overnight at a house in Little Elm.

According to officials, police responded to a house in the 2800 block of Quietwater Drive at 12:27AM this morning and located a man deceased from a gunshot wound. The Medical Examiner has identified the man as a 31-year-old male who lived at the house.

Police say there was a “violent disturbance” between the victim and his wife before the shooting, according to the wife. She was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.

Four small children were found in the home unharmed.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled his manner of death as a homicide.

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
