Driver killed in single-vehicle crash in Grand Prairie
The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a major accident involving a fatality that occurred last night (Saturday) in the 2400 block of W. Main Street.
According to officials, a commercial vehicle was traveling west on Main Street at around 11:30PM when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned. The driver (sole occupant) died.
There were no other vehicles involved, nor were any other people hurt or killed.
Lanes of the roadway were closed while Grand Prairie police investigated the scene.
The victim’s identity has not yet been publicly released.
