The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a series of events that led to a man critically injured in a shooting and crash.

Officers were called to a business, possibly a night club, at 3220 North Main Street around 3:50am after 9-1-1 callers heard multiple gunshots. Emergency personnel arrived and found a person shot and trapped in a crashed vehicle.

Detectives say a fight broke out at the business and the people involved got into cars and exchanged shots in the parking lot. The driver of one of the vehicles was shot and crashed the car on Main Street as they were trying to speed away. He was then partially ejected through the vehicle and trapped by the wreckage.

The driver was transported to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries related to the gunshot and crash.

The incident remains under investigation.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred just after midnight at a club on the east side of town.

Police were dispatched to the Kings and Queens club, 5116 E. Rosedale Street, after shots were fired during an argument between a man and a woman.

As the couple was arguing, the man pulled out a gun and shot at the woman. The bullets missed her, but hit the woman’s juvenile sister and an employee at the club. Both were shot in the leg and transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The man fled the scene and has not been identified or arrested at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at a house in the 3300 block of North Harding Street late Saturday night.

Officers and medical personnel were called to the scene after there were reports of multiple people shot. They found three people at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.

A man was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. He has been identified as the suspect in shooting the two other victims, another man and a woman. Both the man and the woman were transported to area hospitals, but the man was pronounced deceased a short time after transport.

It has not been reported if the suspect shot himself or was shot by another individual.

This incident is being investigated as a family disturbance that escalated to shots being fired.

Identities have not yet been released.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred just before midnight last night along westbound Interstate 30 just before Green Oaks road on the west side of the city.

Officials say a single vehicle was involved in a rollover crash. One of the occupants was ejected and then struck by a passing vehicle. MedStar pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as a 19-year-old male.

All westbound lanes of the highway were closed while police investigated the scene.

The Dallas Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a child found in the middle of a residential street in southwest Dallas.

At around 6:40am this morning, a woman walking in the Summit Parc neighborhood along Saddleridge Drive discovered a child laying in the middle of the street. She immediately called 9-1-1 and paramedics responded to the scene, where they pronounced the child deceased.

Officers are currently canvassing the neighborhood and surrounding area for clues. Residents in the Summit Parc neighborhood who have Ring door bells have been asked to check their cameras for anything suspicious.

Police say the deceased is a male toddler. They are investigating this incident as a murder.

*UPDATE* Dallas Police have identified and arrested a suspect in this case. He is an adult male, but police haven’t released his relation to the 4-year-old child. Additional updates will follow.

**UPDATE** The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Darriynn Brown, pictured below. He is charged with kidnapping and theft. Dallas investigators anticipate additional charges, pending results from a forensic analysis.

The Dallas Police Department was called to a wooded area near Paul Quinn College yesterday (Thursday) at around 12:30pm after a survey crew working in the area found human remains.

The scene was secured while members of the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office retrieved possession of the body. The office has positively identified James Alan White as the deceased.

Mr. White was last seen leaving the LA Fitness in Uptown Dallas early in the morning of October 22, 2020. His Porsche SUV was recovered a week later near the intersection of Bonnie View Road and Simpson Stuart Road, not far from where his remains were located yesterday.

A private fund is offering a $10,000 reward for information regarding Mr. James Alan White’s case.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident involving an Itasca police officer that occurred last Saturday, May 8th, at around 10:30am.

While an Itasca police officer was conducting a traffic stop, the driver of an SUV traveling northbound on the highway veered onto the shoulder and crashed into the back of the cop car. The impact caused the cop car to collide with the vehicle stopped by the officer.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. She has been identified as a 72-year-old woman from Hillsboro. The police officer was transported to JPS for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. A passenger inside the vehicle stopped by the officer was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
