UPDATES: Standoff concludes with armed resident in Pantego neighborhood
At approximately 4:20 p.m., Tarrant County Sheriff’s deputies and Pantego Police officers arrived at a home along Grant Place in Pantego, TX to execute a warrant. As they attempted to make contact with a person inside the home, that individual displayed a firearm. A short time later, a deputy fired their service weapon. Police have reason to believe this person is a danger to themselves and others.
The public has been advised to stay away from the area.
The Arlington Police Department has assisted with evacuating residents or having them shelter in place. Fire and EMS crews are on standby. Arlington Police have established communications and are attempting to resolve the situation as peacefully and quickly as possible.

UPDATE – Grand Prairie PD’s SWAT team was called in to assist Arlington PD SWAT earlier this morning. At around 8:30am, the suspect was observed exiting the residence to smoke a cigarette on the back porch. SWAT officers advised she had the gun laying on a table next to her. As she was outside of the residence, SWAT officers moved in with less lethal rounds and took her into custody.
