Rider seriously hurt in Flower Mound trike accident
On Saturday, July 8th, at approximately 6:45pm, Flower Mound Fire Department and Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 block of Long Prairie Road (in front of the Chick-Fil-A) in reference to a major accident.
The accident involved one vehicle, a three-wheeled trike, and the driver was unconscious.
Upon arrival, it was determined the male driver (49-year-old Flower Mound resident) sustained serious head injuries.
The man was transported to Baylor Grapevine with serious injuries. His condition has not been released.
The intersection of Long Prairie Road and Flower Mound Road was closed while police investigated the accident.
