Motorcyclist killed in Richardson collision
On Thursday, September 21, at around 6:43am, Richardson Fire/EMS and Police responded to a major accident at the intersection of N. Plano Road and E. Lookout Drive.
Investigators determined a motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Plano Road and the vehicle was turning left onto Lookout Drive from northbound Plano Road when a collision occurred at the intersection.
Richardson paramedics transported the 53-year-old motorcyclist to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say the vehicle did not yield to the right of way of the motorcycle.
The crash remains under investigation.
