NEW: Shooter down after actively firing at Arlington car dealership
At around 6:30pm this evening, Arlington Police Department, Arlington Fire Department, and Arlington EMS all responded to reports of an active shooter at Vandergriff Honda, 1104 W. I20 Highway.
Police arrived and the shooter was neutralized. The shooter was transported to an area hospital.
No officers were injured in the shooting. No civilians or employees of the dealership were hurt.
The scene is secure, but still very active. Police will be investigating the scene throughout the night.
