Elderly man killed in Haslet crash
At around 4:30pm on Sunday afternoon, Haslet Fire Department, Fort Worth Fire Department, MedStar EMS, and Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on Farm to Market Road south of Avondale Haslet Road.
Authorities say two vehicles collided in a head-on accident at the curve.
One of the drivers was critically injured in the crash. MedStar transported him to a local trauma center, but he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as a 82-year-old man.
Farm to Market Road 156 was closed while TCSO investigated the crash.
