Man shot after bumping into another man at Arlington business, police say
At around 5:20pm, Arlington police officers responded to a shopping center in the 2200 block of N. Collins Street to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim told officers he bumped into the suspect as he was exiting one of the businesses, which led to some words being exchanged. The suspect then pulled out a gun, shot him, and took off on foot.
APD has not made any arrests at this point. Investigators are currently following up on leads and working to ID / locate the suspect.
