On May 23, 2026, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash on FM-455 near Hub Clark Rd in Denton County.

A preliminary investigation indicated that a motorcycle was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed, approaching a vehicle that was also traveling eastbound. The motorcyclist braked to avoid a collision with the vehicle, lost control, and laid the motorcycle down, sending it into the westbound lane, where it struck a pickup truck. The impact sent the motorcycle back into the eastbound lane, where it collided with the vehicle.

The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The motorcycle rider, a 34-year-old man from Sanger, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This investigation is ongoing.

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving multiple vehicles that occurred early Saturday morning on westbound Interstate 30 between Cooper Street and Fielder Road.

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, at approximately 3:45 a.m., officers responded to the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 between Cooper Street and Fielder Road to investigate a major crash involving three vehicles and an 18-wheeler.

Preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the a car from behind, causing that vehicle to leave the roadway and collide with an unoccupied vehicle, which was parked on the shoulder of the interstate. Due to the impact, the first vehicle became disabled and came to rest across multiple lanes of traffic.

An 18-wheeler traveling westbound was unable to stop in time and struck the disabled wrecked car, ejecting the passenger.

Both occupants of the car were transported to local hospitals. The passenger was later pronounced deceased. Preliminary investigation suggests intoxication may have been a contributing factor in the crash.

The driver of the white sedan sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.

Westbound Interstate 30 was temporarily shut down while officers investigated the circumstances of the crash and cleared the roadway.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once next of kin have been notified.

 

At around 8:00pm Wednesday evening, emergency responders from Parker County ESD #1, PCHD EMS, and Parker County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on San Jacinto Drive near Aledo.

Initial information indicates a juvenile was ejected from an ATV after crashing in a field.

Crews arrived on scene and found the juvenile victim. He was pronounced deceased from his injuries.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as a 14-year-old male. Additional public pages have identified him as a middle school student at Aledo Middle School.

The incident remains under investigation.

At around 11:20am, Arlington Police, Fire, and EMS were notified of a wreck involving a motorcycle in the northbound lanes of Hwy 287, just north of Sublett Road.

Mansfield PD was in pursuit of the motorcycle rider when he wrecked out.

Investigators determined the motorcycle rider hit a traffic cone, then struck a concrete wall. The rider, an adult male,  was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The northbound lanes of 287 were temporarily closed while crews investigated and worked to clear the wreck. They have since reopened.
