Man arrested for killing Uber driver in Dallas
The Dallas Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred last Friday, January 8th, involving a ride-share driver and his passenger.
Officials say a 33-year-old Uber driver was found dead near the 4100 block of Langdon Road around lunchtime on Friday. An investigation led them to uncover that he was killed by a passenger in vehicle.
As detectives learned more about the crime, it was determined that a 21-year-old male passenger riding in the Uber attempted to rob the driver. The passenger then beat the driver to death, according to Dallas police.
