Two 19-year-olds killed in crash near Lake Ray Hubbard
On Sunday, June 9, at approximately 6:00 am Garland Police and Fire/EMS responded to an accident on Rowlett Road just east of Roan Road.
Officers learned that a red pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Rowlett Road when it lost control and made contact with the guardrail.
Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle. They were located and pronounced deceased on the scene. A third passenger was transported in critical condition.
The deceased victims have both been identified as 19-year-old males.
There were no other vehicles involved.
The Traffic Unit is investigating the events that led up to the accident.
