Resident dies in Arlington house fire
Just before 7:30AM this morning, Arlington firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in the 2300 block of Idlewood Drive in east Arlington.
Engine 6 reported fire through the roof on arrival with one person inside. A 2nd alarm was called to the scene as firefighters went into rescue mode.
A short time later, an adult female was found deceased at the scene. The 2nd alarm was canceled after this discovery.
The fire is now under control and out. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
